Time to give back.....

So it's the holidays. Whether you celebrate or not is not the issue. It is however a time that you can show people simple kindness. A time to be nicer to others maybe then you normally would. A time to be compassionate to those that may not be as fortunate as you. Also a time to rejoice in your family and friends and what they bring to you. It is not a time for gifts and things you can get out of it, unless you only want the warmth in you soul that doing good by others can bring to you. So no matter how you choose to celebrate this holiday season at least do this. Show kindness and compassion to those around you and that will make the world a much brighter place to be in, Blinking lights not included. ;-)

I've been Busy....

Yes I have had a bit of extra time on my hands of late and put the energy into making some new outfits. OMG Vampires DO exist!

Well we all know that Halloween was a few days ago and we also know that I am a vampire queen in SL. So I decided to play the whole thing up and do something a little different. I decided to go all out but you know I had to be me too. Azul had a fabulous dress just for the Halloween holiday looks like I was a bit messy with my dinner. Leave it to her to make something gorgeous and perfect. Also had to have this Truth Hair Lilia white and blacks. Gotta love truth! Had a fabulous incredible time that night and even though it is different from my normal red I was loving this white hair. May do it again at some point. All Jewelry from Dahlinks Concubine collection. The fangs well those are mine the better to sink into all those lovely necks out there or wherever the mood strikes.

Survival

So yeah, had a rough day today and made me start thinking and clinging to the good things I have in my life. When people go out of their way to hurt you and bring you down, trying desperately to bury you in self doubt and ridicule. Hold on to those that lift you up and show you that you are indeed worth something. Let their words keep you grounded to the possibilities that can abound should you merely believe they are there to grasp. I won't say when life gives you lemons make lemonade, that is so cliche and frankly, in many circumstance, does not even come close to expressing what can be thrown at someone.

Just remember pick your self up and keep going. There is better out there and its worth the fight no matter how impossible it may seem to be to attain. You simply have to allow yourself to believe no matter how hard that may be sometimes. Don't give up.

While I wait to see if Hurricane Irene will land a tree on my head or not, I decided I wanted to take some pics. I found one of my favorite dresses and well today I am feeling a bit naughty, or is it just dark and twisted? With me you never really know. No it's not one of my own but a fabulous designer that I don't feel gets enough play. Angelic Lefevere Couture is a fabulous clothing store with some of the sexiest dresses I have seen, as well as shoes. Most of her outfits come with jewelry as well. This sexy little number is Kitty Noir, Earrings and eye mask included. I love how the front lets my tattoo's show through. So while I wait to see if I will have power after tomorrow take a look and a run to Angelic and see what they have. You won't be disappointed. Oh and did I mention I had to wear this truth hair today? The name is Alicia in blood red, hehe, that one should be no surprise. I love how soft it is and feminine. Truth definitely has fabulous and lasting styles.

New Beginnings

Today I am preparing my house for an onslaught of family and my son's friends. The last few days I decided to create a dress in order to calm myself from the coming madness. My son is getting married to his long time girlfriend this weekend and I felt inspired to create a dress that would show the softness and feminine nature of my new daughter in law. We never know what the future holds with the choices we make when we are young and we all must live with those choices made. Sometimes they work out well and sometimes they don't. I hope that my son makes his choices well and does not make the same mistakes I did. I wish him all the luck he can have in his future and send him my love.

My Sissy Lyra has a store called Nectar and I have to say she is definitely one to be watching in the fashion world of SL. She is creating dresses that are sweet, sexy and edgy, and yes those three words can work together. You must must must check her out. Only a couple of selections now but I guarantee you will want to bookmark her store because she will soon be rocking the fashion trends more and more. A little goes a long way

Well now I was a busy girl this week. Lots of djing, a firefight with friends, some random greedy, and in between all that, I made a couple new dresses for my store Wild Serenity. Don't worry I will try not to bug you guys to often with my own stuff, but I do like these two dresses I made this week. One, a bit bohemian with a touch of elegant sexiness, is called Mirage and as usual comes in several colors and a fat pack.  The other all tease yet still feminine, it's called Strapped also available in an array of colors with a fat pack to be available shortly. Take Aim

As many of you already know I am a big fan of guns. Yes I know, although a bit unconventional for a woman, I say embrace that side of us that likes that power in your hands. Whether it is shooting targets or zombies in SL, or even our friends and loved ones. SL allows you to have a bit more fun without the life sentence. I say embrace that slightly morbid murderous side we all have, of course in SL only, and go with it for a bit of fun and mayhem. So today I am featuring a rifle made by my love and sold now on Marketplace. It features several types of ammunition and an incredibly cool scope site that you can attach and gives you the most accurate aim ever. Not only is it realistic it is a hell of a lot of fun and one of the better rifles I have had the pleasure of using, and we all know, I have a lot of guns in SL. So check him out on Marketplace. OK I admit to having a bit of fun with this title. You see my Sissy Lyra Foxclaw made these simply yummy panties that she is selling in fat pack's of different sayings and symbol's, in her Marketplace store Nectar. They come in a rainbow of colors and have the best sayings for a girl in second life. I simply had to find an excuse to wear my underwear in public. So I did for a set of Cheerleaders and Jocks. Paired these fangtastic undies with a cute little Jersey and tube socks along with my favorite boots from Bax. Of course since I was djing I could not leave off my weapons. They are as much a part of me as my skin and hair. Besides my arm gun was made for me custom by someone most dear to me I never leave home with out it ;-). I do have to tell you that these particular undies will be offered by her as a group gift at some point but she has several in her fat packs and a great deal. I am warning you though, you will start looking for a reason to wear you underwear in public!

Wild Serenity

Why hello there everyone. Yes I know I have been gone for sometime, but guess what? I am back and plan on posting more and more. I know I let myself get lazy, I mean who doesn't at some point, but I have started some new journeys in my Second Life and want to tell you about what I am doing and better yet, what I find. So I am revamping A girls life a bit and I hope you will continue this journey with me and lets just see where it heads.

On first note I have started my own clothing line. I will keep you all abreast of not only what I create but also what little gems I will find as I go along. DJing will always be my first love in Second Life as to what I enjoy doing. However I have found not only an outlet for creativity but also a nice way to pass time, and I can't deny that I love fashion in SL. After all we are able to push the limits beyond modern convention and there are no bounds for the ideas and what can be done in SL. Basically if you can imagine it then you can probably create it.

So continue the journey with me and lets see what kind of trouble we can find and interests we can spark. Until then here is a little look at what I have started. The name of my clothing line is Wild Serenity. Fitting I think since Second Life and me can be wild and just a bit crazy. After all this is way more fun then normal any day right?
