Fashion For Life a Relay for Life Charity Event

With a fresh New Year started, so begins the 2013 Relay For Life season.  Over the years, the Fashion community of Second Life has worked diligently to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and this year, with your help, we plan to take the world by storm.

This year's inspiration for Fashion For Life is Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.  There are 7 themed SIMs, as well as 2 event SIMs:

Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Lighthouse of Alexandria

Last year the Fashion for Life event raised over 30 million lindens to help in the fight against cancer. This year we hope to double that!

Wild Serenity is once again participating in this incredible event with 4 exclusive designs to be sold exclusively for charity. All proceeds for these 4 dresses will go to Relay for life. There are 9 sims all filled with the best designers in SL, all giving their time and talent in the fight against a disease that takes far to many far too early.

So make sure you set some time aside to come out and walk around all 9 sims. There will be events, concerts, and fashion shows going on throughout the Fair so make sure you come out and see all there is to see. The builders really out did themselves this year. They are some of the best builds and sims I think I have ever had the pleasure of seeing! Wild Serenity is in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and I have to say it is breathtaking!




So Come out and see all there is to see and know it's all for a great cause that we can all relate too. Cancer is a disease that will touch us all in one way or another so lets do what we can to help rid ourselves of this horrid disease.
