Well all you fabulous people out there I have something new to talk about now. Yes I have started a new Career in second life! I am no longer a dancer at the Club Ambrosia, which I have to say is a shame I made a lot of good friends there and will miss working with them greatly. Some I will not miss so much. However SL is like RL in the ways that you will meet people that you may not get along with. Hey it happens, no biggie, you just deal with it and go forward. So I am going forward!
I am now known in the wonderful world of SL as DJ Teradawn! Yes that's right people I am now attempting to burn up the airways in different clubs around SL. I am having a blast right now, still getting my DJ legs under me so to speak, but let me tell you it is a blast! Now if you are planning on being a dj there are classes in SL that will teach how to do it. Unfortunately they leave out a few things. Like how to adjust your mic so you don't sound like you are talking while wadding up a paper bag. There is a little known adjustment on your mic that says config. Let me tell you this is the dj's best friend here! You adjust those packets starting 10 & 25 and you will sound clear as a bell. I think that should be taught in the class but it was not so I am telling you myself.
My next thing to do was to make a group for myself. Now I thought this would be easy till I had to start thinking about what my group member tags would be. Now I am not always really creative but I wanted them to have something that they would enjoy having above their heads. I think I picked out a good one for now. Who knows we may be changing it later, that is yet to be decided. However I sent group requests to my friends thinking that most would not accept, I mean we all have tons of groups on our lists and I know how hard it is to decide which ones to drop. So I did not expect the positive response I got and how many people joined. Let me just say I have some of the best friends in SL. They are great and I appreciate them more then they know.
Well that was a brief synopsis of what I have been doing for the last couple of days. I have turned into a full fledged dj still getting her feet wet. I am working at 3 clubs now. The hot and upcoming Embraced nightclub, the awesome Club Haze and also soon to start at Distruktion. I am thrilled and will be able to play a huge range of music.
So that is all for now but keep checking back I am sure plenty of stories are yet to come, like the Naughty Song night I played last night. Talk about steaming it up, it was out of control sexy!
Seems that my fans like me to play the naughty tunes and I am more then willing to oblige them.
Kisses all!

Today I decided to talk about the dating scene in SL. You will meet a broad range of people here and some of them will rub you the wrong way and some will rub you right. No I do not mean in a sexual sense so get those minds out of the gutter. Well you don't have to take them out of the gutter since that can be more fun but you get my meaning. Now it continues to amaze me how bold some of these men are. I mean I don't know of any man doing some of the things being done in real life that they do here. Besides the goofs walking around just spouting out that they want to have sex. You have the ones that like to not say nothing, pop up a friend request and expect you to accept it. There have been times I have hit the accept button not realizing it was a friend request. I get bombarded with note cards and such so sometimes they slip through, but then they take that as a sign you want to do the big nasty. I mean it is a friend request people not a sex on demand button! Come on, do you seriously think I am going to run out and pop out my pose balls for anyone that comes along? Especially one that does not even say hi how are you first? It continues to amaze me the stupidity of some of these guys. Oh actually I should not say guys only, some women have been just as bold. I do find that a bit weird though. Being a woman I tend to think friendship when a women im's me or sends a request. I have been shocked at times to find them doing the same things that some of the men do. Although that does bring up a very important thing to remember in SL. Unless you have heard them talk you never know whether the person behind the avatar is the same sex as said avatar or not. So beware!
Now at times you can tell if the person behind the female avatar is a man and not a women. I mean they say things that a woman would never say. However others are more sly and it is a lot harder. I find that women who play male avi's are the hardest to figure out unless you get them in voice. We women, obviously, have the key to our own likes and dislikes. Sadly men you are not so lucky, yes the women seem to be more able to pull off the opposite sex ploy better then the men. So let me say this, if they are not willing to put a voice out there at some point, when you are alone, then be cautious. You can pull so many pictures off the Internet that a picture is simply not enough anymore. So male or female, talk to them, it is the only way for you to know truly what there sex is.

Oh and I have officially started to add to my little Vampire family, and I must say it is very exciting. I find it fascinating to see the differences in the people that I find. I think I have found some of the craziest (in a good way) fun people to bring into my personal family. One thing I don't know is what do they call themselves. Brothers and sisters seem a bit strange since they at any point could start dating, and I can't seem to come up with anything else. So if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Ok so the last couple of days or so I have been setting up my new Sim. I bought a huge gorgeous house that would be my dream in Real life. Ok it is not a house it is a mansion! I mean this thing has a theatre pool, hot tubs and so many rooms I lose count. Of course in SL you can make anything into whatever you want. But here are some rules and things to remember, I will let you learn from my mistakes, lol. First when you put your rez box down make sure you allow it to terraform first, other wise the house did not rez level. You may not see this at first but later you will know that it is not as it should be. I did not realize it till I had already done some major remodeling. So now I have decided to scrap it and redo the entire thing. My furniture is in place and I have changed every texture in the house so this means more hours of remodeling ahead. Not looking forward to it but I have no choice. My doors do not lock because the house did not link up correctly. Someone was kind enough to come into my house when I was not there and look around. I came in and everything with a pose ball had pose balls rezzed, lol. I know I did not do it so it has me curious what was going on in my house. Some things I probably don't want to know. However some good things have come out of this. Besides learning to terraform I have learned to not be afraid to try new things. I have taught my self how to build walls, windows, mountains and waterfalls. I have learned how to make textures fit and modify them to what I want. I have learned how to take out walls and kitchens and replace them. So all in all even with the mistakes I have learned more from experience than my mistakes. So don't be afraid to get out the and try making things, you can always delete them if you don't like it. So get out there and start making your dreams in SL come true, don't be scared, the SL police won't come and get you for messing up their world. Hell I don't even think there are SL police out there, maybe I have just been a good girl and not seen them, I hope so. Maybe I will do something bad just to find out? Till next time!

A Girls Life in SL the beginning.

Ok let me first say that I find Second Life truly a Second Life. The things you can do there continue to amaze me daily. I have been in SL now for about 4 months and in many ways I am still a newbie but I don't consider myself so new anymore. So I wanted to create this blog for all the girls out there to talk about shopping, jobs, living in SL and of course Men! I will try to update it daily and let you know about my experiences. Oh and did I mention I am a vampire in SL. Not one of the scary ugly kind mind you I like my fashion to much. Besides nothing wrong with looking good when you ask a guy for a little nibble. I also just purchased my first sim and will talk about the trials and tribulations found with terraforming and altering original material to suit your tastes. You can learn from my many mistakes, and believe me there have been plenty. I hope that some of the guys will read this too because I plan on letting you know what does not work and what does when trying to catch the interest of a girl. I mean seriously guys asking me if I want a picture of you Penis when all you have done is say hi is really not going to get me. And what is it with the random friend requests? I mean have you thought about saying hi first and maybe letting me know who you are before you slap a request in my face? Those kinds of things will get you no where so read my blogs and I will try to help you out, lol! So ladies and gents since this is my first post it is pretty basic but I promise more. Some will be to help you out in daily life and some will may get pretty hot, I mean the sexy level in SL Is way up there and I get my fill of sexy and then some. So come along for the ride and maybe you will learn something and you will I hope definitely get a laugh or two.
Thanks!
